Please complete the following surveys before the pre-transition after school sessions commence:
EAL - English as an Additional Language
House Allocation:
We will be sending out house allocation emails to parents/carers on Wednesday 21st July with a link to one of the below videos to tell you which house your child will belong to. This will also indicate which tie you will need to purchase before September - Chetwynd (red tie), Hawkstone (green tie), Aqualate (purple tie). If your child has a sibling that is currently attending BBS, their house should be the same. If you have a sibling who will be joining BBS with you in the same year, they will also be in the same house. If the houses do not match the sibling, please contact sam.hicks@lct.education and we can look into this for you. We will be in contact the first week after the may half-term to inform you of your child's tutor allocation. Please ensure you have completed the above forms before the pre-transition programme begins.
SEND & Inclusion Transition Evening 2025 - Tuesday 17th June
The following letter was sent to parents/carers who registered interest in our SEND & Inclusion offer at BBS. The SEND & Inclusion team will be hosting an information event on Tuesday 17th June from 4.15-5pm. If you did not receive this letter, and would like to attend please come along.
SEND & Inclusion Transition Evening
Tutor Group Allocation:
We will be sending out tutor group allocation emails to parents/carers on Friday 6th June with a link to one of the below videos to tell you which tutor group colour your child belongs to. Parents/carers will need to show the email to a member of staff at the door before we guide your child to their tutor during the first pre-transition after school session.
Where possible, we’ve grouped students with others from their current school to help make the experience feel more familiar. If you’re child is the only student coming to BBS from their school, please don’t worry—there will be many chances to meet new people and make friends, and our team is here to support them every step of the way! We know starting something new can feel a bit daunting, but this is a great opportunity to connect with students from other schools and build new friendships.
To help everyone get the most out of the programme, tutor group allocations are now final and will stay the same throughout. This consistency helps create a settled and supportive environment for all.
Please read the following letter - Pre Transition Programme 2025
If you have not received an email with your child's tutor group allocation, please contact sam.hicks@lct.education.
